€500 for a bedsit in Clondalkin?
A wooden bedsit with no ceiling insulation. In a country where the temperatures stayed below zero for several weeks last winter.
Odd political comment there at the bottom: Social Welfare Cannot Be Accepted. What is this OccupyClondalkin?
It’s illegal to state that as far as I know.
Because nothing says “professional couple” like living in a SHED.

lol, my thoughts exactly…
Ha!
I’ve always fantasized about paying above the odds to live in someone’s garden shed in Clondalkin…
Wow! Good luck with that come winter…
Available 10th October. Does that mean someone is already living there?!
one of the kids is probably emigrating, new occupants will be paying for that
I’ll huff and I’ll puff and I’ll blow the walls down!
Is that even legal?
I wonder if this professional couple will have to sleep alongside the owners lawn mower and half used tins of paint…
In a camp bed!
One of my mates lived in one of these ‘chalets’ on the site while he was building a house. It was pretty cosy even through the winter.
Still…….
HA!
‘Chalet’, you should be an estate agent!
How could Daft.ie have known how prophetic their name might become?
“OPEN PLAN” kitchen, dining, sleeping area!!!! Does this mean that it’s a one room shed?!!! Oh no! There is a “separate toilet”… wow. Such avant-garde design… gorgeous living how are ya!
I doubt it has planning permission as a dwelling so it wouldn’t be insured.
I wonder what the BER rating of that one is….
Hopefully hasn’t been used to house a ‘secret family belonging to the pater familias
It does have something of the Josef Fritzl about it alright.
Is 500 to buy the shed? Seen one on Argos for £899 713/6348 so all in all 500cash for used seems fair price
