  1. Sharp-eyed photographer there… generally we only see the beginnings and endings of most words and the habit of reading those words allows us to make up whatever’s in between, which is why the FCUK T’shirts about 10 years ago caused such a stir.

Still, that’s no excuse for lazy road-painters.

    • Tehy say taht you can scmmbale teh ltetrs in all wdors in a sneacnte, as lnog as teh frsit and lsat lteetrs rmiaen in pcale, and plopee wlil be albe to raed it.

        • Yeah, the first poster messed it up a bit by omitting letters. You forgot the ‘a’ in scramble.

          • Hey give me a break. It’s not easy to write that on the fly. Also I’m a seriously horrible speller. I didn’t forget the “a”, I put in a second “m” instead of an “r”. Thats cos I was switching the letters as I was writing. Also I missed one of the “e”s in letters. Although it proves that you don’t even have to have all the letters correct for people to understand the word. Aren’t humans wonderful?

  2. Now I might be mistaken (probably am) but was there a “No Entry” road sign spelt wrong on the exit road from Bray Train Station? I’m using was, as it was 4 years ago.

  3. Actually, it isn’t a mistake.
    It says ‘A. I. Port’.
We’re leaving the country because we’re clinically f*cked!

  4. Reminds me of that ad a few years back with the taxi driver training the chimp to drive – “Ayyyye-port!”
