So Irish.
Sharp-eyed photographer there… generally we only see the beginnings and endings of most words and the habit of reading those words allows us to make up whatever’s in between, which is why the FCUK T’shirts about 10 years ago caused such a stir.
Still, that’s no excuse for lazy road-painters.
Tehy say taht you can scmmbale teh ltetrs in all wdors in a sneacnte, as lnog as teh frsit and lsat lteetrs rmiaen in pcale, and plopee wlil be albe to raed it.
vrey……………….mm……….good?
Smees y’roue rgiht.
Yes, but the letters have to be there when scrambled.
Yeah, the first poster messed it up a bit by omitting letters. You forgot the ‘a’ in scramble.
Wait, you didn’t forget it you just put in an extra ‘m’.
Hey give me a break. It’s not easy to write that on the fly. Also I’m a seriously horrible speller. I didn’t forget the “a”, I put in a second “m” instead of an “r”. Thats cos I was switching the letters as I was writing. Also I missed one of the “e”s in letters. Although it proves that you don’t even have to have all the letters correct for people to understand the word. Aren’t humans wonderful?
A crap abbreviation maybe? ‘A/Port’?
Now I might be mistaken (probably am) but was there a “No Entry” road sign spelt wrong on the exit road from Bray Train Station? I’m using was, as it was 4 years ago.
Maybe its genuine..I’ve heard of AIPORT…meant to be some spot alright!
Maybe we couldn’t afford to paint the entire word?
Darn dyslexic almost let me leave a comment asking what the hell is wrong here! Hahaha!!!
Darn dyslexia almost had me leaving a comment saying “what’s wrong here?” hahaha!
Yeah – It’s not an affliction they understand here.
And it’s still PC to take the piss.
Photoshop.
Actually, it isn’t a mistake.
It says ‘A. I. Port’.
We’re leaving the country because we’re clinically f*cked!
Whoever wrote that clearly has sex daily, er, sorry, meant to write dyslexia
So that’s an AND/OR situation

Reminds me of that ad a few years back with the taxi driver training the chimp to drive – “Ayyyye-port!”
