Missing DCU Student

Michelle Smyth writes:

DCU student Paul Bunbury (above) has been missing since Thursday. Paul was last seen in  the college campus [Collins Avenue, Glasnevin, Dublin 9] at around 4pm. He hasn’t been online in over 24 hours and his phone is switched off which is out of character for him. If anyone has seen him or has any information please contact Whitehall garda station on (o1)6664500. There will also be a search at 2pm in DCU meeting at the Helix.

  1. I hope he’s alright.

I don’t know if its appropriate to be doing a meta analysis of this particular post, but I want to say that this kind of post is good. We got to look out for each other. Keep up the good work Broadsheet.

By the way Ben Gazzara’s dead.

  2. Hope he’s found safe and well. Terribly sad the amount of young people going missing in Ireland nowadays.

Good work Broadsheet for broadcasting this

    • It’s one of his primary methods of communication.

If it’ll convince you any more though:

He hasn’t been in contact with any of his family or friends since Thursday afternoon or returned to his apartment since then.

Is it a missing persons case yet?

    • You are a horrible little person. Felt you weren’t getting enough attention was it? Thought you’d make a smart(alec) comment? Congrats; we all see how funny you are. Ha. Ha.

This is the third night that he hasn’t been home. We are all very worried.

I hope you feel proud of yourself.

    • It’s close to 60 hours since he has been seen or heard by anyone, whether via internet, phone, actual contact or even CCTV.
