Love these small companies with one or two vans but still like to print phrases such as “Operations Support Team” and “Patrol Vehicle” on them.
So what’s the other van for?

Mattie Mcgrath, T.D. has a “Constituency Support Vehicle”. Its the business.
It’s
T’is
First off, they don’t “clamp the cars of visitors to sick people”, they clamp the cars of people who have not adhered to the rules of the car park set out in the contract agreed with the HSE, regardless of the owners activities.
Secondly, you spelled ‘visitors’ incorrectly.
Thirdly, he’s probably parked there to clamp/remove the white jeep on the opposite side which is illegally parked? Maybe.
Clamping is uncivilised.
It’s a made up revenue stream to hand to the friends of government officials.
Ok, so they clamp “the cars of people who have not adhered to the rules of the car park set out in the contract agreed with the HSE” who happen to be the cars of visitors to sick people.
I never understood why if you’re not supposed to park there, they’ll clamp you to ensure you stay there longer than necessary.
Also parking there to clamp the white jeep is not an excuse. I’ve seen clampers do this a lot- park on double yellow lines etc. to clamp someone else. It’s hypocritical.
Now, how many spelling mistakes were in that?
I support the clamping of ignorent skangers who park in the fecking ambulance bay. No doubt the same people are upset that they cant smoke indoors setting off the bloody fire alarm in the hospital every 20 mins.
“Thirdly, he’s probably parked there to clamp/remove the white jeep on the opposite side which is illegally parked? Maybe.”
Even if that were true, they should still be parking the clamping van legally elsewhere in a space not reserved for AMBULANCES. Surely they can carry a clamp a few extra metres?
Firstly, you omitted the apostrophe, to indicate possession, in “owners activities”.
and secondly?
Agree with you 100%. Getting clamped is up there with getting caught speeding, it’s the choice of the individual.
BTW it’s not a jeep, it’s a Ford Ranger pickup.
loser!
First off, the HSE would not be directly involved in a contract for the operation of a Hospital carpark. It would be the Board of Management of the Hospital and the Parking Operations company only.
Fourthly
Why is there a question mark at the end of your third point?
Secondly, the ‘rules of the car park’ would not be set out in the contract as you seem to imply. The contract would be signed and the Parking company would agree to administer the Car Park rules as set by the Hospital Management Company.

Here here
clampers have no souls. Fact.
True, but they have soles of steel!
I’m only here to help.
The folks who work for minimum wage, punishing people for infringing clearly marked-out parking arrangements must be the easiest group in society to pick on. They do a fairly sh*tty job at the behest of the city council and then bear the brunt from people who parked in the wrong place or didn’t pay or whatever.
I have been clamped a couple of time but it’s been my fault every time.
If they’re clamping the white van thingy… where are they??
Yep, they have no souls, they get them removed at induction training.
Is that training to induct?
Great point Hazie – where are they if they are clamping?
Clampers gonna clamp
Blame Israel.

No, the country, not the religious denomination of 75% of the countries inhabitants.
The tone was jocular.
Ah Clampers, you had to ruin it all with a grammatical error.
The driver might be in theatre getting the clamp removed!
Comments pointing out grammatical errors are so tedious, move on people.
Of course the car should be clamped. It’s blocking the ambulance set down.
