Wonderful thanks. I emailed the Olympic Council some weeks back enquiring what events involved a participant from Ireland….still no reply.

If you google “Irish olympic schedule” or anything to that effect, Google will have a decent schedule layout there. Same thing I’m sure works for most countries and the overall tournament.

Yes there is a schedule there now, which was posted July 28th – the day before the Olympic Games opened! I was kinda expecting a planner a bit more in advance – like the soccer ones – to arrange events around.

There were plenty available for the final over a month ago at the cheapest rate. Under 30GBP if I correctly recall.

With great difficulty .. I watch it on BBC and sometimes they give Irish people a bit of coverage but obviously they’re mostly focused on British athletes…

As long as you live in Europe,You can watch the Olympics LIVE via Eurovision Sports on ANY European TV channel inc RTE.ie
Only exclusion is in your “home country” : ie: if you live in Ireland you can’t watch the RTE Eurovision coverage but would need to sign in as normal to rte.ie equally if UK based you would not see the BBC via eurovision. But if you are Irish anywhere else then you can tune in to website as below and then just click on “EBU members” and hey presto you will have a choice of RTE or other European channel. Some people have reported small problems when using the latest version of Firefox as a browser but previous versions and other browsers work well. Hope that helps.
