The directorial debut of Disney animator John Kahrs (Ratatouille, Tangled, The Incredibles, Toy Story 2, etc.) – a gorgeous hand-drawn short (which will play in cinemas next month as a support feature for Wreck-It Ralph) – now released by Disney in its entirely for your viewing pleasure.
Using a minimalist black-and-white style, the short follows the story of a lonely young man in mid-century New York City, whose destiny takes an unexpected turn after a chance meeting with a beautiful woman on his morning commute.
You can read more about how traditional hand drawn animation and computer generated images were combined to make the short.

So cute :))
Was expecting to hear his voice at the very end.
“It’s me the guy from the bar.”

*nostalgic chuckle at something he didn’t think funny at the time of broadcast*
*reads year it was broadcast*
:(
I am old
I do like the way Disney sometimes still have a short before the main feature.
Nice.
The animation has an Iron Giant vibe to it, so you can see the Brad Bird influence alright.
Nice… I like :)
