Maeve O’Rourke seems like a genuinely good egg doing good work. Long-term, I wonder what the point is though. She lives in London, works in London, pays taxes there and presumably votes there. Far too many like her make the choice to live elsewhere particularly in London (and it is a choice, I’m not talking about forced emigration here), leaves the existing political parties to be propped up by our parents’ generation.
