    Shock! Horror!
Call the cops and the media.
Major breaking news story – foreign car spotted in the country!
Can someone let me know why this is worth posting?
Unless it’s just the reg (which is cool), in which case, why the “Was it for this” headline?

Yup, my dad is a Dublin taxi driver and gets jobs to go up North. I wonder is there a NI equivalent of BS where someone has posted a pic of his car with a “was it for this?” tag.

The problem is that there is a shortage of actual news or amusing stories so they have to rely on faint tones of republicanism to get clicks. A northern car in the republic. Wow wee.

Ah right. There was me thinking I wasn’t cool or ironic enough. Everything is okay with the world now.

I actually saw a car with a little GB logo on its number plate drfive by the GPO yesterday, what is this country coming too?

It’s a London registered taxi, not from Northern Ireland. Might be on it’s way to or from NI but not registered there. Owner was probably holidaying in Ireland and using his taxi as transport. It is not an operational taxi outside of the London area, just as a car with a Taxi Parisien sign would not be an operational taxi outside of Paris.
