I’ll bet my house he’s done more good than 100 of you put together. You had no snarky comments to say about him yesterday, but you use the opportunity of his death to show everyone what a d**khead you are.

I’d sooner see passports given to a high quality human beings than see them handed out for free to ferry loads of economic migrants.

Those in Ireland of 2014 should be very careful about throwing stones. I hope it all keeps up for ye.

…hey ABM, did you not run that comment past your mates over at the Israeli embassy? I’m not sure they would have considered Shiekh Khalid bin Masri or the other Arab Shiekhs who got passports as ‘high quality human beings’…..and the one thing that the lads over in the embassy know plenty about is the irish Passport.

I tried to do the time link thingummy, but it didn’t work. At 2.26, Albert single-handedly un-hijacks an Aer Lingus flight in Paris, then tells Haughey the news over the phone with a Dunhill burning in his hand. (Then Big Tom comes on so might want to have the sound off.)

It’s probably one of my favourite RITY clips, the sneer he gives the person asking what the secrets of Fatima are…

Yeah, more of an ‘I wouldn’t know where to begin and it’s not worth the effort, so I won’t even bother.’

Never before has someone so effortlessly combined the role of taoiseach with dog food manufacture

+loads of foreign holidays (sorry, trade missions) at the taxpayers’ expense, along with wife and various other junketters…

Every time I hear his name I remember the Mespil Buildings scam where his two daughters got apartments at cut down prices from INBS..

I was renting one of those apartments at the time. Was sick when I heard that some were sold for as little as £26 thousand. The whole thing was so sly. Marian Finucane got one too.

And predictably not a single mention of his greatest contribution to this Island.

Well done lads, continue the begrudgery

A typical FF gombeen who was lucky enough to be part of a very large group of people from UK, Ireland and NI who managed to broker a ceasefire and peace process. As wiith all of that ilk he ran the state for the good of the party.
