      Yes. They have to go right the way back round the Cape if they want to go the other way. Or, y’know, they have a schedule or something at the lock to aid in managing traffic.

      06:00 to 15:15,: Pacific to Atlantic
      15:45 to 23:00: Atlantic to Pacific.

      At any other time, travel is permitted in both directions.
