I’m always amazed at how badly some people prepare for a festival. Those plastic sheets arn’t worth a shit, get a half decent rain jacket for 20 quid and enjoy yourself.

also, hide hypodermic needles on you so the git of a security guard frisking you every time you want to see a band will leave you alone next time

Some people don’t mind but bad weather would ruin it for me. Especially after crackin weather for Body n Soul this year. There’s no comparison. Looking at those pictures i’m glad i’m not there.

Yer wan who’s too cool to wear a raincoat in photo 2 will get a terrible chill in her kidneys. Mark my words.

I like to guess where people are from and she’s either Wicklow or Wexford. With Tyrone a possibility I’m not ruling out.

She’d be better off with Bedquarious the Beared Bed Carrier in the last pic. He looks like he takes no sh*t.

by jove there was more cheer watching the schindler list than looking at this lot of unfortunates.

drinking warm beer in a muddy field in laois? as much as i really could murder a beer right now, i don’t think i’d go that far.

Looks pretty grim alright. I must admit I laugh at all these young people with their rolling suitcases schlepping across a field, how about a backpack?

yeah, when the cold gets into the bones, the comedown is horrendous. and that’s with proper pills, god only knows what’s in the muck these lads will be necking this weekend..

It was cool in 2005 when I was there. But as soon as I had already been, it immediately stopped being cool.

Forecast for rest of weekend is pretty good. Trick is to get your tent up early. Rain has stopped in Stradbally now, lashing in Dublin I hear.

  10. JunkFace

That looks like a shit buzz. Body & Soul had amazing weather this year, now I’ve been spoiled and can’t go to wet/muddy festivals again!

Of course the right drugs would change everything

Saw Shane McGowan earlier…he looked well…in that he was asleep…slumped in a chair…at half 3…
