Emmet Kirwan, writer of Sarah & Steve and star of the Just Sayin’ video has written a new play called Dublin Oldschool. It’s a razor sharp roller coaster ride through the Dublin underground. It premieres at Tiger Dublin Fringe next week, playing at Bewley’s Cafe Theatre.Would love if you could share it.

Maybe it’s just the trailer but yer man in the green shorts not very convincing as a heroin addict, just sayin’.
Agreed, bit too coherent and free flowing with the words. Nicely shot tho.
Ah that guy I hate, good luck to him
Acting isnt great… feels like a fair city scene
It’s better than that, in my opinion. I haven’t seen Fair City in a while but I thought the two lads there weren’t bad.
Your man in green short’s not particularly convincing but I’ll hold out hope for it and see it anyway.
@Llareggub, I work with heroin addicts everyday, and I think he’s fairly convincing. Not all addicts are dribbling idiots.
I never suggested that all heroin addicts were dribbling idiots, I have known functioning heroin addicts so I wasn’t stereotyping. It’s just the lack of angst maybe – he doesn’t appear to be conflicted. As I said it’s only the trailer – it could come across better on stage.
I thought the acting was really good.
Interesting dialogue too.
Is that your man that voices the 3 ads? Insufferable
wheres adam n paul when ye need them
Looks great good job looking forward to the stage show!
I seen this play at electric picnic and this video does it no justice. It was amazingly brilliant. Will be going to see it again it was that good.
