I’m Not Bossy, I’m A Psycho

A University of Huddersfield student has proven for the first time what you’ve long suspected to be true – that people with psychopathic tendencies hide how much of a psycho they are to rise to key managerial positions.

Basically, your boss might truly be a psycho.

*cough*

Study says your boss might really be a psycho after all (Newstalk)

not just bosses in an office management sense, its also CEOs and business people. Brass neck types who would kill if they had too ,providing they knew they could get away with it. But will play the sentiment/sympathy card when they have too. IE: Bono . Who I personally believe to be a cold sociopath if ever their was one. Steve Jobs is another , Other examples are the slipper-gate couple and the Killiney couple .

        Slippergate?

        Cinderella was a saint!
And Prince Charming was a REFORMING absolute monarch.

        Get your facts straight.

Too many to go into but love of money and mask of charity for starters, plus lots of stuff about his dealings with his band. I dunno, he wouldn’t have struck me as an obvious one but then again, they’re rarely obvious or not at least until they have achieved whatever they set out to achieve.

Do a bit of reading Will and broaden your info beyond Silence of the Lambs. Few psychopaths are convicted rapists, they are mostly cunning and under the radar.

This is not such a revelation – despite the self-indulgent drama of the article. If you avoid emotion and empathy in work (obv. in a job that doesn’t require it) you will have a far more productive day…and career. Leave the hugs at home.

I disagree. We should bring all our talents to work, including our ability to empathise. What’s the point in being ‘less than’ in any situation?
