A Panglossian plea. Regardless of the rights and wrongs of independence, the Scots are still human and certain to create a society with many short comings on their own as they are as part of the UK. The only difference is that it will be their very own mess underpinned by the national cuisine of haggis and deep fried mars bars, sectarian soccer and peatty moonshine. Perhaps it is enough to take ownership for one’s own national shortcomings…
The “YES” campaign just went all “NO” campaign. Both have engaged in sensationalist manipulation to influence the lowest common denominator.
