Where is this beavertown you speak of?
Near the bottom
Not far from Athy.
Yep, fair cop. London Porter brewed originally by an English’mn and still owned by an English company. Good selection of bevies though.
Arthur wasn’t English. His family roots are as Garlic Irish as yours, not that that should matter. Being Protestant and Unionist doesn’t miraculously make one English.
PortObello
Porterbello
Guinness isn’t french. It’s owned by a french company.
Doom Bar :-)
It’s great stuff. Don’t tell anyone though, we’re supposed to pull silly faces and pretend English bitter is auld pish water.
I’m an idiot i just noticed what you were replying too
Apparently Guinness HQ has been in London since 1932 because the Irish Free State’s “Control of Manufactures Act”, so kind of British, I guess? Diageo is British too.
…good line-up of London beers there….inc Diageo finest…also looks more like a squashed pomegranate than spilt claret….it is PortObello after all.
Where is this lovely door that you speak of?
Am I too late to suggest the title “was it for thistle?” for an article to do with the scottish referendum result?
Can you make up an article for it please? Thank you.
