The Bike That Won’t Die

at

hercules

At the weekend, Tom O’Dea emailed about his bike (above) after it was cruelly lifted from South Richmond Street, Dublin “outside OYA cafe”.

He thought it was gone forever.

He writes:

“I still know you don’t normally do this but the bike I emailed about last weekend was spotted last night at 9:00 being cycled along the North Quays outside Liberty Hall. Someone was cycling it along the path against traffic hence why my friend who was driving lost him. I’d really appreciate highlighting it since it’s still around the city centre. It actually has red wheels now unlike in the photo.”

Anyone?

“hence why my friend who was driving lost him”

After shouting “em, hello excuse me” several times at him.

That’s disgraceful. Yet another reason why anyone cycling on the footpath should be slapped repeatedly.

    What’s the lesson here?

Cause if you liked it then you should have put a lock on it
If you liked it then you should’ve put a lock on it
Don’t be mad once you see that the scobes want it
If you liked it then you should’ve put a lock on it

um, could it not possible be another bike (esp. seeing as it now has different wheels?)
It doesn’t look that unique to me…

God help anyone else who bought the same model and color bike…but has red wheels…..living in Dublin….

It had red wheels before it was stolen, not that it was spotted with different wheels. Also, while I can see how it may not look particularly different to any other red bike, there are definitely not many, if any, of that model around Dublin. It was a model of which not too many were made and they are mostly in Germany as far as I know.

As for the ‘hence’, point taken, henceforth I’ll be using ‘that’s the why’.

    Thanks

    Thanks all the same
