First of all, I didn’t see a man being beaten up on that short video clip. Second, I’m old fashioned like that – its much worse or a man to hit a woman than another man.

Don’t worry, ZeligIsJaded doesn’t believe that the guy that got beaten up beforehand was a proper lad, hence the inverted commas around then ‘man’.

poor girls, they were on here when it happened and spoke briefly about the incident, I hope they are feeling a bit better, no doubt this will stay with them for a long time. He deserves to spend many a year in jail!!!

Delighted for the scumbag – there’s no way he won’t be identified from that.
Well done Dublin Bus for having such high quality cctv

Somehow I can’t see him getting anything he deserves from the justice system. Suspended sentence to go on top of any other suspended sentences he may have hanging over him. I was drunk your honour, I don’t remember anything. There his mother speaks on his behalf, how he’s a good lad, never hurt a fly. Has his troubles. Not his fault.

Hopefully all that won’t be enough this time. Personally, I’d prefer if he could be sentenced to 20 minutes of getting the sh1t kicked out of him instead of a custodial sentence. Yeah yeah yeah I know… not allowed say that.

That drunk excuse shouldn’t ever be taken int account. I’ve been drunk loads of times and I’ve never tried to kick the shit out of someone on a bus. If you know alcohol makes you violent then choosing to get drunk makes you fully accountable for any violence you perpetrate when you’re drunk.

+1 ….but, kinda leaves a lot open to interpretation… “I never knew I could be like that your honor” followed by the barrister saying “he’s been attending rehab since the incident”…and away he walks…

Hard to call, but I hear ya!

Who recorded that video? Surely they could have got the bus drivers attention or called the guards?
