The Golden Brown,
Voted Dublin’s Best Cocktail at the recent Dublin Cocktail Festival.
Conceived by Diep Le Shaker‘s ‘shaker’ Cian Lynch using Teeling”s small batch whiskey, pear cognac, cinnamon, clove syrup and almond foam.
Yum, gulp or SPLUTTER.
You decide.
Thanks Claire

Big yummy gulp.
Yes please.
I deserve six ‘Golden Browns’ at Diep Le Shaker because I’m about to drive a WWII tank.
Yummy, especially during the cold dark winter months.
I thought the post was going to be about the latest Dub coffee till I did the reading
Double Morgan and Red Bull ran a close second.
Yes. The recession is finally over. No more porter for me. Over priced coloured drinks are back.v
I’d give it a go.
Over priced cocktails are generally a lot better than 5 EUR cocktails thrown together in under 30 second. You just need to know where to go. There’s a great mixologist community in Dublin (and Ireland).
you had me at mixologist
Agreed. I love when just one drink makes me tipsy: generally they’re good value even when they’re expensive. I’m fond of negronis: they’re rocket fuel.
you can’t say that anymore.
Most people don’t look at drink so irresponsibly. Personally il drink a cocktail because it taste nice, not because it will get me drunk.
You are exactly what is wrong with the Irish culture to drink – and exactly what’s holding the Irish bartending community back
That looks v yum indeed!!! Yes please !!
That will only make us sick. Stout all the way hi.
Jaysus wept … the GOLDEN BROWN is Dublin’s cocktail of choice … you couldn’t make the irony up.
