This morning.
Connacht Rugby captain John Muldoon bumps into Katie Taylor at Dublin Airport.
Katie is on her way to a possible fifth in a row world boxing title at the WQBA championships in the Jeju Islands, South Korea which gets underway on November 14.
Warning: dodgy refs.

Dont tell Clampers…
Come on Katie, be brave, tell us if you believe in evolution or LGBT rights.
Mind your own business.
Taxpayers pay her salary. We ought to know if she’s a medieval bigot or not.
Fupp off. Taxpayers pay her salary so that she can be the best female boxer there the world has ever seen
Her religious beliefs are entirely her own and completely irrelevant.
Idiot.
And her stance of the LGBT community? Is that irrelevant?
Wow. Just wow.
Yes?
What has her stance on the LGBT community POSSIBLY got to do with her chosen sport?
Well, I don’t want to be paying for a bigot’s past-time.
Welcome to freedom of religion and expression.
You can feel free to not vote for her if she ever runs for office.
You aren’t paying for her views. You are paying for her boxing expertise.
Yes, that is irrelevant.
None of it is any of your business.
Agreed. Becoming well-know doesn’t mean you have to display your private life and opinions for all to see and critique. Especially when it has nothing to do with her day job.
If/when she wants to talk about her beliefs on any topic, THEN we can respond and agree or disagree with her. Until then, none of our business.
You whinger. The lady is quite possibly our most greatest ever sportsperson. She doesn’t receive a salary and boxing is one of the worst funded sports in Ireland. Two days ago she was running around with her father collecting her kit from O’Neills etc. It’s a joke. The lady should be beatified.
Why would she?
She’s coy about the gays, no telling.
Theyd have some tough & sporty children
not to mention fugly and creationist.
And eat into your grant money?
I’m sure Muldoon is a strong lad, but I’d still put my money on Katie in a fight..
I thought they only play rugby in Anglo Ireland ? Why are Connacht involved?
