Haha my dad had one of these for 10 long painful years. It literally fell to pieces.
They were utterly and completely crap. I wouldn’t have a Renault chucked at me after my Dad bought one of these.

The claims were even more inaccurate back then, and the cars averting less weight so the same engine wouldn’t come close in a modern car

Amazed at how dated that looked for 1988, that car was replaced by the Renault 19 the following year which was pretty bland but at least looked like it was from the 80’s.
