I wonder how many of the keyboard warriors calling them cruel would bother taking in a lost dog and going to the trouble of trying to find its owner.

As someone who loves dogs i think we all need to admit that, like people and children, some dogs are just dicks

Also can I just say that Brazil Fawtly, as well as being a caring person you’re also a genius! No way i could have thought of a better way to get people to share your annoying ward :)

This dog has been in my friends house for ages now. They’re all sound, and that dog is so damn lucky to have ended up their. I can confirm that the dog is in fact annoying, the people who have been looking after the dog are very kind-hearted people! The keyboard warriers that are leaving really harsh abuse are some of the biggest losers I’ve ever seen posting on the internet, and the internet is big as we all know.

Dogs don’t do linguistics, and if they did, they cold probably take a joke.

how is it annoying? is it barking all the time or following you everywhere? is it peeing all over the place or chewing on stuff? does it nip?

chances are the dog is more freaked out than the folks who have taken it in. the poor thing needs lots of attention, lots of walks, lots of reassurance and time or it will start acting up.

oh, and dogs may not do linguistics but if you shout at it and dismiss it, it will understand and respond accordingly.

Nobodies shouting at the dog. they said on the link that its peeing everywhere. there’s no maliciousness in the ‘annoying’ comment, they’ve taken in a stray, looking after it and are going to lengths to try and reunite him with their owner. they should be commended.

Although there is no direct correlation between doing linguistics and taking a joke- Noam Chomsky for one.

Surely it is Brazil who is annoyed – annoyed to have found a dog with neither ID tag nor chip. That’s the owners responsibility.

“Well, animals are a lot like people, Mrs. Simpson. Some of them act badly because they’ve had a hard life or have been mistreated. But, like people, some of them are just jerks. Stop that, Mr. Simpson.”
