Smokey Joe November 25, 2014 at 12:43 pm I’m intrigued by this. How did those sandwiches accumulate “& tasty treats”?
Soundings November 25, 2014 at 1:19 pm I never much like the 12pm term which literally means 12 hours after midday, or midnight. Much better to say “midday” or “12 noon”. And what does “Monday – Sunday” mean, does it include Monday and Sunday, in which case, it’s seven days a a week, or maybe it excludes one, or both. No, no, this won’t do at all, and I’d be even more offended if it weren’t lunchtime and time for a sandwich.
isallimsaying November 25, 2014 at 3:07 pm No, it means 12 O’Clock after midday literally. And ante meridiem means before midday literally. no mention of ‘hours’. You could however question if 12 O’Clock is before or after midday. Bon appétit.
