They’re Guardex

Guardex surveillance surveying Irish water protestors apparently. Evidence gathering is what they do….

IWception. People filming people filming people filming.
+1 all the way down.
Love that website
‘Robust Guarding Services as evinced by this picture of a pocketed tit.’
easily addressed by the recruitment of a pack of youngfellas from drumalee to go and fleece the bloke of everything he owns. he’ll be standing in his jocks wondering what happened as the last of them pass him by.
Won’t somebody please think of the children?!
Stoneybatter’s got it covered:

I miss ABM.
How much MORE money is being wasted on this – whatever it is?
not enough on web design anyway, thats for shizzle
That was kinda funny :)
Tommy Tiernan’s comedy must be letting him down.
Nothing illegal about walking around with a camera (as IW protesters themselves will often point out).
Is there a point to this? If Irish water or one of their contractors go to court to prevent illegal actions by protestors they’ll need evidence to back it up. Otherwise its just their word against the protestors.
+1
whats with the numpty waffling on about a school?
Whilst shouting “you shouldn’t be filming be filming near a school” she was actually, Errrrrr, filming near a school.
There is a school opposite where everyone is. I presume she is complaining about everyone filming, not just the two lads.
Presumably talking to the person who filmed the above clip.
“Robust Guarding Services”
“I didn’t video you”
The bloody neck.
Surveilance at protests is a good idea if there’s any suspicion of nefarious forces at play or ex paramilitaries being involved in the anti water campaign. The town is going to be full of protesters and shoppers with kids etc on the big Dub protest. I want the guards knowing what to expect so they can protect people in the best manner possible.
….. and all the Mrs. Brown impersonators – we’ll need extra special protection from them!
Company owner is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development no less. He must be good.

“GuardEx was established by Eamonn Gibney, who served in the Army Ranger Wing for 14 years. Here he developed skills in Leadership, Training, Operational Planning & Execution, Hostage Rescue Operations and Surveillance, VIP Protection and the Guarding of Nationally Important Vital Installations. Eamonn served also for 5 years in the Military College, training Officers from domestic and international units. “
If the Army Rangers are so good why is Amber still missing?
Who do you think took her?
Send a couple of lads from O’Devaney round, they’ll sort them out.
I think it’s a really wonderful moment when that honest and determined lady pointed out that those ‘thugs’ should stop filming so close to a school. I just so happened to be crouching behind the said school wall, waiting for them to come out of class, so I could have a quick tug, so thank you kind lady.
