Even though St Mel’s is a bit minimalist for my liturgical preference (I would still very much love to go to Holy Mass at St Mel’s!), well done to all involved, particularly Bishop O’Reilly and Bishop Duffy – their efforts will not go unnoticed. Both men are a credit to the priesthood. I hope and pray that the people of Longford get great benefit from having such a wonderful cathedral and such an visionary/inspirational clergy.

Good to see a local business back open in time for their busy season, I’m sure they will collect a few Euros over the Christmas to help pay for the decorations

Would have made a fierce nightclub

What’s stopping you ABM? There are only 27 Roman Catholic Cathedrals on the island of Ireland. You could easily get a mass in every one in a year.

    Wake up Broadsheet…

That ‘Anglo-Celt’ couldn’t possibly be a real newspaper.
    Somebody is pulling your leg.

Look at the pixels…it’s photoshopped, Man…can you not see it?

…no, definitely the genuine article…only the real Anglo-Celt could spell ‘furnace’ wrong in the headline.

It’d be good if Trim Credit Union merged with Navan Credit Union.
Credit Union of Navan and Trim.
