Yes, objecting to comments on a woman’s appearance when recommending her for a job is political correctness gone mad. Of course it is. Sure don’t we all have lovely bottoms that help us do our jobs?

    Fuppwit.

“Fears Brendan will miss Saturday’s Show”

Yeah, we’re all petrified at the prospect. How is this even deemed news?

Michelle and Iris separated at birth?

Now there’s a meme of phonographic potential

What’s next? The female “bishop” of York married to her transexual partner, the “bishop” of Canterbury?

I sometimes wonder what the monarchy thinks of all this. I think Queen Elizabeth has a quiet respect for Rome and a personal fondness for many popes gone by (esp. Pope Benedict). All the efforts of Queen Elizabeth over her long reign (she met Pius XII in 1951!) are being completely nullified by this motley lot in their garish, pimp-my-bishop costumes.

Most other people couldn’t care less. Whatever gets you through the day I suppose.

…forgotten how good this was…everything from nubile novice nun to pompous pope…ABM can go straight to climactic appearance of pius XII at 9.00.

I hope that I might say here how happy I am that the Church of England has welcomed into the Episcopacy its first woman bishop. The Most Reverend Bishop of Meath has set a fine precedent in this regard, and has even convinced old C of I fogies such as myself that women bishops are a good thing, despite our wilful obstinance.

For many years, I felt very strongly against the ordination of women to the priesthood, on unthinking traditional grounds. I was very wrong. After several Episcopal appointments within the Anglican Communion, I am delighted to see a woman appointed to the Episcopate in our fellow church.

I was wrong for many years. I was reluctant to accept women priests. More recently, I was reluctant to accept women Bishops. I can only say that I am truly sorry.

Is any one else sickened by the lack of respect the newspapers have for the family of Elaine Ohara. There is no need to be printing details of her sexual life except for the gratification of leering middle class w****rs.

Was just thinking that. It’s pretty sick. It’s like they’re desperate to sexy up what is pretty obviously a tragic case involving severe mental problems and depression. Phooowar latex bandage Phooowar.

Completely agree. The people who earn a living in this kind of utterly sordid braindead occupation should be outed and their own filthy laundry exposed in the same way as they destroy the lives of their subjects.
