Mister Mister
So what ? Get over it.
Zoolander
You bought something from Amazon.co.UK and you dont want them to advertise offers for people in the UK……
Precious much?
markgdub
We’re all entitled to both a princess moment and 15 seconds in the limelight.
Stop pissing on my parade.
scottser
quite right markgdub. this calls for a hunger strike..
Eamonn Clancy
We watch their soaps, read their newspapers, follow their soccer teams, speak their language. We deserve it.
Jess
I only do one of those things and only because Irish teaching sucks.
scottser
some of us watch their soaps, some of us read some of their newspapers, some of us follow their teams alongside our own. as for ‘their’ language, it’s a bastardisation of old norse, latin and french.
ahjayzis
Think we’ve contributed enough to it to consider ourselves at least part owners of the language!
scundered
why not try dropping your pitchfork and play a tune on your banjo, see if that helps?
markgdub
You gotta purdy mouth.
Skerries

markgdub
This calls for a hunger strike and a dirty protest.
I’m sending the package back with a big Irish pooh inside to get the ball rolling.

Nothing says angry paddy like good hefty guinness poo. For the cause!
andyourpointiswhatexactly
Oh yeah! I liked Ripper St. I must watch the new series.

I don’t think that they realise that Amazon Prime members in Ireland cannot access the service. Certainly the lady in customer services that I spoke to didn’t anyway.
Amazon are the worst for that. Would it fupping kill them to show the prices in euro while keeping the site in english?
Wearnicehats
Well that’s a bit like a british person expecting amazon.com to print their prices in pounds.
No, the other one
Tried to by a gift voucher at Christmas and could only by it in sterling
Apparently if I wanted to buy a euro amount I have to open a French or German account
Spoke to a customer rep and they just couldn’t get their head around the fact that I couldn’t ‘just’ use the currency converter on check out – ended up having to buy a voucher for something like 43.54 sterling to get 50 euro equivalent on the gift card – pure ignorance from 3 people I spoke to and no plans to offer euro vouchers for Irish customers
Frilly Keane
Ück ’em
Amazon are flooded with cash and can well afford to go full dot i.e. without even really noticing it on their income statements.
Send it back with a map.
I did that when Jamie Oliver opened his ‘UK’ restaurant in Dundrum.
You sent a restaurant back? Impressive.
It was an ikea restaurant
*chuckles*
