Lucasfilm and De Agostini challenged us to find the total cost of building your own (semi) functioning Millennium Falcon. And so we did, by using science + A LOT of improvisation and conjecture.

That’s the best part of £265 million per parsec on the Kessel Run.

considering the B2 bomber cost about one billion each to the US air force – and there were 21 built – i suspect the above estimate is a slight lowball.
