Yay. Congrats ladies.
Congratulations, ladies.
I don’t watch much of the rugbys, but 73-3 is good, yeah?
Well it’s 7 goals and 3 points I assume.
They got 10 tries, and Alison Miller hat-tricked with 3 of them, they missed a few penalties, but it was very windy; all in all, a fantastic display of talent and potential, as some players were uncapped prior to this season.
They weren’t playing savage ball
Hi joj, I don’t really know what you mean by ‘savage ball’, but if you mean that they weren’t attacking, then the score shows that they were, and they showed great structure and discipline while Scotland gave away penalties like sweets; and Ireland had possession for 90% of the match. If you mean Scotland, then I agree, they haven’t won any of their games in the 6 Nations this season.
I think it’s meant to be a slur on GAA, Zara. You know, to provoke one of those never-boring fights between lovers of different sports.
Thanks, Junior F, but if I’d known what the colloquial reference was I wouldn’t have taken the bait; although, now that you mention it, lovers of different sports can be fun as well, and it’s never boring – especially when the teams are united in provocation ;)
How did Mick draw that conclusion? (Ok sorry;)
Wow, close score.
Well done girls and good on ye for capping off a fine weekend for Irish Rugby.
Well done them!
Woo hoo ! Great achievement , well done! What a weekend for rugby!!!
73-3? Could have left it at 20, 30, 40… That’s Irish women for you – never know when to just let things go.
And of course soft hands.
