I know its all a bit of craic and that most people on broadsheet seem to genuinely hate Clarkson and Top Gear, but i loved it and have watched for years. I remember the excitement when i would hear there was a new series and the laughs i would have watching it. I am sad to see it go and i am really going to miss it.

Consider – Clarkson writes for the Sunday Times and the Sun, which are owned by Rupert Murdoch.
Rupert Murdoch is also something to do with Sky TV.
This might be a case of follow the money.
ahyeah
Clarkson writes…. jaysus. Clarkson types, more like.
Drogg
Both Sky and Channel 4 have said the will not be working with clarkson.
Spaghetti Hoop
TV3 are open to negotiations.
jeremy kyle
Oh Christ!
I can just imagine him hosting it with Martin King and Vincent Browne!
Mani
Clarkson working with dirty work shy paddies? Drunken leprechauns with pigs under their arms.
Odis
Yes I know but they can change their minds
Corvo
Me too. It’s a shame it had to end this way.
ahyeah
Stop that.
Dave
Don’t you know where you are? Bring your positive attitude elsewhere.
Paolo
If you laugh along with Top Gear then it explains much of your posts on Broadsheet.
Mrtits
Says Broadsheet teen troll #2,367! Lovely work!
Drogg
Glad to hear that i can now easily be categorised as a Top Gear fan.
Nigel
The only person to blame for it ending is the guy who punched the other guy. It’s all on him.
Drogg
I am not looking to blame anyone, i am just sad to see it go.
Nigel
You’re quite right. You didn’t. I’ve come across so much rubbish on this topic that I read more into your comment than was actually there. I blame the BBC.
Drogg
Not at all, really they did the right thing. I can imagine people on the show thought it would be a case of the two shaking hands and an apology from clarkson after the fact, but in fairness to the BBC they did the right thing.
Ah poor Stewart Lee.
His TV show has also been canned although the difference between Top Gear and The Alternative Comedy Experience was that no-one watched his.
Clarkson is box office.Very successful and very rich. You can understand why the tofu-munchers despised him.

I’ve got ‘bring out your dead’ on repeat in my head….. for some reason
I’ll miss Top Gear, but not unlike The Simpsons it hasn’t been great for quite a while anyway.
I only hope that Dan Castellaneta takes a swing at Matt Groening so they can put an end to that too.
:0)
ANY excuse!

Mass appeal is not a mark of quality.
+1 Jeremy
Farrah slacks used to be worn by the masses going to Masses. Yet they often had an itchy quality unlike any other.
Just sayin’ like.
See Mrs Brown’s Boys
Tends to be a good start.
One of the most watched youtube videos last year was a beheading so your box office analogy is bollox.
So YouTube is box office now?
He’s not a real hamster.
Pompous, bigoted, casual and active racism
What’s not to like ….
Dick Emery gone you say that’s sooo saaad
Is it just me, or does he look like Jeremy Paxman in the freezeframe?
It’s just you.
To me, he looks like the Max Headroom of my nightmares.
Ah Stewart Lee; a snide pompous man beloved by chinstroking bedwetters who get permanently outraged on Twitter.
