The attack happened last night at a compound belonging to a contractor on the Lacken Road. The damage is estimated to be up to €100,000.

Well thats constructive
They can build from that
Another peaceful protest
Or another insurance job?
No, I would imagine that it was people who feel that the democratic process is best served by getting free stuff and attacking anyone who disagrees.
you like to imagine lots of weird stuff, i’d say.
@ Paolo
Who’s getting free stuff and how do I get some? You’re obviously the expert on this.
Local dole office, health centre, St Vincent DePaul…. I suspect you know them well enough already.
That’s [Redacted]’s modus operandi alright.
Dont worry Paolo, Enda loves ya
@ Baccus
All that pales into insignificance compared to the ‘charity’ forced on the great and the good by a compliant administration: bank bailouts, NAMA, secret deals for public infrastructure projects, insider appointments to Quangos etc, etc, et-fupping-cetra. Charity that the rest of us fund without our consent.
That’s just messing now.
It’s the Dublin Bin Wars all over again. Remember them?
They’re being recycled !
They were some dopey bastards, it was a contractor, not even Irish Water.
Scum.
RTE Radio 1 already joined the dots for listeners on their morning news reports.
Vandals are vandals – blaming water protestors for this would be like blaming all Muslims for terrorist attacks… blah, blah, blah
PC… no, I mean…. JCBs gone mad !
Aren’t kids always damaging construction equipment? It’s part of the reason doors, windows on JCBs, etc are usually protected behind metal sheeting. This has been happening before anyone ever heard of Irish Water. RTE are a disgrace.
Clown.
I joined the dots and came up with a six degrees of separation link to ISIS..doesn’t bear thinking about
Were there travellers about to move into that vehicle?
Obviously the work of fat people
nah those suits are flammable
it is believed the perpetrators were freckled people. it is widely known that 90% of arsonists have freckles and gardai are currently rounding up any freckled person they see and checking for lighters.
If it turns out to be ancient aliens I think I’ll be smugger than your average commuter belter.
Was there no water to put the fires out one might ask
Around 20 years ago equipment was burned in Donegal….it eventually
transpired in evidence given at the Morris Tribunal that the incendaries
were fabricated not by the usual suspects, but by those suspecting them.
Beware and beware of RTE.
Framing is everything:
