Mural’s Wedding

This afternoon.

David Mullane writes:

Thought you might like to share this lovely pic of a just-married couple taking some wedding photos in front of our #YesEquality #WallsOfEquality mural. They are French and it was raining and they were in a bit of a rush so we didn’t get their names. But it brightened up an otherwise wet and miserable Friday in Temple Bar! Our mural was created by @sums_one and commissioned by @willstleger

The raised fist (also known as the clenched fist) is a symbol of solidarity and support.. It is also used as a salute to express unity, strength, defiance, or resistance. The salute dates back to ancient Assyria as a symbol of resistance in the face of violence.

It’s a Sums fist bumo. You might have noticed them around town. He’s littered the place with them. It’s ok to vandalise and deface property as long as you’re down with the gays. Everyone should be equal, even child like 39 year old graffiti artists who still ride around on bmxs.

how do you know he didn’t get permission to do this, since its on the front of the Project Arts Centre?

It’s pretty obvious he got permission for this. He didn’t get permission for all the other ones he has all over the place. On peoples homes, shops, traffic lights etc.

Is he not Scottish? I can’t imagine why you’d get married in a kilt unless you were very Scottish, Sturgeonly so.

Although the photo is slightly compromised by the AIB umbrella, it’s a lovely shot, I like the equality gesture, they look like a very happy couple, and kilts don’t irk me.
