Just keep telling the same lie. She’s not a pawn of a frightened establishment at all, at all. Move along, nothing to see here but social justice avenger with no ties to Menace O’Brine or INM.

yep. if dublin bay really loved her they’d have elected her to office in either 2009 or 2011.

    What’s Averil Power’s problem exactly?

That she didn’t get enough recognition for her working during the marriage referendum campaign? There’s a long queue of people Averil who put in trojan work who deserver more recognition and probably won’t get it. Go put your toys back in the pram.

Her problem seems to be that she’s suddenly realised that FF are a pack of shysters.

Make of that what you will, but I haven’t seen anything that would suggest that this is a pram-toys issue because she didn’t get enough recognition.

after 17 years surpporting them are we supposed to forget that after a couple of days?

Her Hubby is rowing in full tilt behind her with some serious FF hatchet jobs in his paper this week!

She is no Harvey Milk, a very good referendum campaign yes but was all too happy to jump once she realised Haughey was on the ticket and made a very personal decision. Maybe she had a chance of election with a solo run and Haughey has no chance either way but I’ve no doubt the hatchet being wielded is for personal gain.

…Averil will be hoping to restore the true meaning of ‘Independant’ in the next election…

She left FF cos Martin would give her the TD recommendation not because she’s a social justice renegade kicking against the pricks.

how much financial ruin do you have to support to justify helping pass marriage equality?
