Or a ‘set-down only’ point? I don’t think there’s a loading bay outside the council offices.

Bad grammar! For those two words to go together in a sentence you need to add riddance.

…they have extensive underground parking that I’ve never seen more than half full. I wonder who’ll pay the bill for that clamping fine?

The underground car park is full every day and often has people queuing to get in. I’ve seen the lord mayors car parked here before. Surprised to see this.

It’s actually a moronic waste of time. They might as well be clamping other clampers.

BS should actually follow up on this and ask them to post online the receipt for payment of the fine.

Do I understand correctly that Lord Mayor gets a new card every year? just for the sake of plate?

Sponsored by Volvo on a loan agreement at no cost to the city as far as I understand it

You’d think they would put a discreet advert on one of the doors. “Dublin’s Lord Mayor sponsored by Volvo” – that kind of thing.

wonder how many hours they had to wait for unclamping.any chance user of car might pay fine.

So clamping is bad 99% of the time on here, but good when it’s the Lord Mayor because “politicians, rabble, rabble, rabble…”

As long as you’re consistent, like.
