Its pretty hard to tell from the photo but you can’t park within 5m of a junction, so the jeep is certainly close to that. Also, the line becomes continuous white before the roundabout. Lastly, it probably would constitute interfering with traffic as you would probably be causing traffic approaching the roundabout to yield slighty.

Its borderline and given the ample parking, unnecessary to park there

Apologies for the sporadic crappy postage this afternoon. Normal service will resume very shortly.

I have noticed this all over Ireland, people just park their cars on the road, its MENTAL.

The absence of double yellow lines or signage to indicate restrictions on parking in this area would suggest that there is nothing to see here.

Patricia – used to be the best stripper in town according to Christy Burger……. long time ago obviously

It should be against the law to park facing oncoming traffic. Like it is in Canada. Also, while we’re reforming the laws, you should be allowed turn left on a red if safe to do so. Again, similar to Canada.

also in NZ. cannot park facing oncoming traffic. They also have 70km/h speed signs too!

nope. not any more they’re not. Hence folks parking on the road. They’ll have to put down double yellows, road isn’t wide enough to deal with that and it’s a busy one.

Yeah but our lovely city council charge for parking there now, and those vulture champers are never far.

Same everywhere. The best ones are the feckers that “have to” walk their dogs. They’d drive onto the beach if the could. Poor wee Schnoodles doesn’t like walking on concrete only sand. There’s a large free car park at the beach near me but you’ll still get cnuts parking on the footpath outside the carpark blockin half the road. It’ll only be a matter of time before I get footpath rage and the sledgehammer comes out.

    1. Seriously

I don’t have any pets so I’m no expert but wouldn’t hot concrete be pretty uncomfortable for dogs paws?

Minding your own business, a now alien activity lodged in the annals of the past. Shame.

It’s getting ridiculous on the stand road during the week, it started a few months ago when the camper started claiming 2-3 cars that were parking half on half off the foot path up by merrion hall, after a few days of getting clamped the mini owner realised that they wouldn’t get clamped if they just stopped blocking the path.

So now everyone is like… Well if they can I will, so the whole length of the road is jammed at rush hour each day, cars heading north bound can flow down which backs traffic up the rock road, it’s only time before someone clips a cyclist trying to squeeze down the road
