Forget about the weather.
The country’s in a shambles, the economy’s gone wrong,
The summer’s non-existent, we don’t even have a summer song
To top it all, the seagulls are trying to do us in
What can we do to get out from this cloud of gloom we’re in?Let’s get together, let’s get together
Forget about the weather, get the whole country together and
Get together and sue … Denis O’ BrienIt’s not like he didn’t start it first, I think you’ll all agree,
He’s sued more people than the Church of Scientology
If nothing else, it’ll be a bit of sport
Watching four million people trying to squeeze in the High CourtLet’s get together, let’s get together
Forget about the weather, let’s all get together
Get together and sue … Denis O’ BrienWe’ll sue him for dodgy dealings involving mobile phones
We’ll sue him for attacking democracy here at home
We’ll sue him ‘cause he’s humourless, greedy and crass
Feck it, lads, at the end of the day, we’ll just sue him for the craicLet’s get together, let’s get together
Forget about the weather, get the whole country together and
Get together and sue … Denis O’ Brien
The Denis O’Brien Song by Derek Flynn.
FIGHT!
He’s the only one damaging his ‘reputation’.
what a zzdope!
i’ve a feeling Derek Flynn will be receiving a cease and desist letter shortly
(im already making my ‘Je Suis Derek’ tshirt)
I haven’t listened to it, but I love the idea, more of this only shows that the man has no “good name and reputation” to sue to protect… he destroyed that himself
I’ve actually been wondering about this issue in all seriousness. I’m sure I’ve seen cases (though maybe in the UK) in the past where defamation cases have been struck out because it’s been ruled that the plaintiff has no good name to lose. That’s going to be most obvious in instances of criminal records etc. But what about the instance of the Moriarty ruling combined with widespread public comment online indicating a lack of belief in the individual’s good name? Would that count?
It shouldn’t be assumed he has a good name. His *cough* activities and the findings of the Moriarty Tribunal had an effect on Ireland’s standing in the world corruption index.
Now, if someone can come out and say they have a good name after an effect like that, they’re talkin’ nonsense.

Hopefully FM104 do a song and DOB sues them and they have to close down the station.
I laughed :)
I really hope Derek ceases and desists
We really should get together and sue the bottom (and its a big bottom) off Denis O’Brien. Give him a taste of his own arrogance and time wasting …….
And a solicitors letter is coming in 5, 4, 3, 2,…….
Would Duck Sauce not be more apt?

Hmm. IT (irelands tapeworm) acts to defend his good name and succeeds in giving himself a worse good name. Nice moves D. He reminds me of cornflour. Stir it harder, the harder it gets to stir.
In what voice am I supposed to read FIGHT at the end there? In a street fighter 2 voice?
*Read that comment in relaxed cool dude voice. With Swedish accent.
