Ireland Women’s Rugby 7s squad host a World Rugby event [August 22 and 23] at the UCD Bowl, Belfield, Dublin 4, involving teams from Brazil, South Africa, Samoa, Hong Kong, Mexico, Wales, Japan, Kenya, the Netherlands and China.

With an Olympic repechage spot already secured by Ireland, the top two teams this weekend qualify for the full World Rugby 7s Series.

      Very poor/No sensible coordination on the timing – We might have gone to both if they were on different weekends.
      We’d booked tickets for Limerick before we heard about this tournament, and might have stayed in Dublin for this otherwise (though I’ve a cousin playing for NY in Limerick, so maybe not).
      Sevens rugby is excellent entertainment, and I’d commend this to anybody as a great day out.

      No, sometimes BS covers those events that might not get the mainstream push elsewhere.

      The Rose of Tralee contestants also had breasts, so why aren’t you signalling out their earnest and devoted coverage?

      Oh right. There wasn’t any on here.

    The dutch women’s sevens team has been fully professional for years. The costs incurred have bankrupted the dutch union. PC insanity.
