Tickets for U2’s Irish shows go on sale (RTÉ)

Got two, but only at the behest of my girlfriend. Ticketmaster now have a “facility charge” on top of their service charge I see, which is on top of their very healthy cut of sales in the first place. Nice lads. Well matched to Bono and co.
“no tape recorders”
The modern version of that should be “put your f-ing phone away and watch the show”
You can only imagine how unbearable the crowd would be at a Bono event. The clamber to get tickets is akin to flies and shoight.
I can’t stand bono but i seen U2 live in croke park and they are fantastic live.
I imagine the guy in the first pic still hasn’t found what he was looking for
I bought a ‘student’ standing ticket, which cost €73 plus fees, which is exactly the same price as the regular standing tickets were selling for, in spite of the references in various places over the last few days of ‘student priced floor tickets’, including the MCD blog (http://www.mcd.ie/home/fn.php?c=5091963&ar=u2). Anyone know if this discount ever existed?
Sorry, that price in my above post should be €70.45 plus fees for a student standing ticket.
They existed alright. Got one for 35. Can’t for the life of me understand the pricing though.
“They built portholes for Bono so he could gaze out across the bay and sing about mountains. You are what you own in this town…”
That Paul Page?
