            Not so sure about that, particularly the ‘superior possession’ bit….

            Ireland – 10 shots at goal, two on target
            Germany – 15 shots at goal, three on target

            Possession – 67% Germany / 33% Ireland

            …or so the ticker on the tele at the end of the game said :)

      I think you mean – frustrate them in midfield and defend relentlessely drawing more and more of them into attacking and drawing their defenders out more and more then Boom! Catch them on the hop.

   so what happened Broadsheet? Did the FAI get the 50% of the German gate for that match they owed us right before they invaded Poland?
