It’s a Route Master – probably a RML257 (going by the rear doors)
Possibly interesting fact – they started making them after WWII in England, and used the same unitary body/lightweight techniques used on RAF heavy bombers like the Lancaster – so in a way, it’s a WWII bomber on wheels.
All the good ones fly south for winter
…and in another way RAF Lancaster bombers were like buses with wings that dropped death on German faces.

You’re right, All the good ones etc.

AND you could smoke! I didn’t smoke myself at the time and I wasn’t allowed talk to the Hippies down the back of bus. I just sat among them at every opportunity and took deep breaths.
It was the good auld days, and their likes will never be seen again.

Accept it and move along.
Someday you’ll be telling your grandchildren about a time when buses had drivers and you gave them a thing called ‘money’ to pay for your journey.
-And they’ll look at you like you’re mad.
