Dude, it’s 2015 and RTE/BBC this week revealed survey results that this ‘occupation’ is democratically supported by a huge majority both sides of the border.
I’m all for arguing for unity, but drop the re-enactment and quit pretending it’s 1922. That crap doesn’t change any hearts and minds.
Poll of 2041 people is a rather flimsy premise to assert that its democratically supported occupation. So 0.032 of the population now speak for everyone?

That’s nothing more than another desperate strategy by wealthy backers of an unequal uber-capitalist economy and a weakened society that can’t fight it.
Those surveys & the methodology employed are dubious at best.
And they seemed like a decent bunch of lads.
It’s not illegal. It’s a paid for commercial poster – all parties and the main candidates of all parties and none are doing this all over the country.
It’s also legal to advertise posters on lamposts, once there is planning permission obtained from the local council and the requirements contained within are followed.
When a general election is called, election posters are legal, without prior permission for one week after the polling day, after which they must be removed.
It’s not illegal. It’s a billboard. The illegal ones are on the telegraph poles.

It’s not government policies that are contributing to any tiny upswing. It’s low ECB rates and low energy costs which are the main driver of it. External forces are the reason.
And wages are lower than they were in 2007 for most people and that’s not a correction, that’s thanks to a policy of devaluing labour and skills through policies like job bridge. Also, upward only leases has pushed many small businesses out to be replaced by international franchises who could afford to pay the rent while the competition was squeezed out.
Fine Gael and Labour are scum who have no loyalty to the Irish people. Their loyalty is to international banking and the supervision of the nation state. They are prepared to sacrifice the welfare of their fellow citizens for an ideology of profit at all costs for the benefit of the few, served by the majority. It’s feudalism, 21st century style. In fact, it has more in common with communism than socialism does.

Sinn Fein/IRA forgot to put an extra “better for” tick box saying “get all 32 counties” which is and always will be there NUMBER ONE priority. They do not care about anything else. Anyone who falls for these people is a fool of a person themselves.
