So the banking inquiry is on the verge of collapse. Am i surprised? Nope.
Guess we’ll have to wait till after the election. Hmmmm

I can’t even read broadsheet.ie anymore, the negativity has just got too much. With all respect to the bright stars still trooping, ciao

      Is this a common complaint?
I know a couple of people have moaned about this before but they made no effort to post comments themselves so, whatever.
We know what to expect from ‘basement dwellers’ and nihilists, I expected everyone else to tune them out…

I think Janet was referring more to people who might slate a film they haven’t watched because it has several directors or make inane remarks about “de fordenns”.
I thought the farmer post was interesting but I couldn’t form a comment that wasn’t soaked in the personal horror of growing up in dominionist seclusion.
(On a side note, dominion over the earth and beasts might help explain the fate of the corncrake)

I try to keep it light… No harsh language and a little melodrama for fun. How am I doing?

I like your posts. But I also really enjoy harsh language and the judicious application of negativity. That’s me I guess – always finding the tequila at the bottom of the worm.

Me too. Though I also prefer random and injudicious suppression of the views of people with whom I occasionally disagree just to keep everyone on their toes and because I abhor so called “liberal” consensus

Were you beating your breast with your clenched fists on reading or otherwise trying to hide your light under a bushel? I suggest we all turn some swords into ploughshares to avenge the wrath of Khan

“A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grevious words stir up anger.
The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: but the mouths of fools poureth out foolishness.”
            (Proverbs 15: 1-2)

Wait- is Janet referring to the content?
The scourge of misspelling, the relentless pricing mix-ups, the single-entendres and the existential angst of “Sure Where Would You Get It?”

If anyone is wondering what to buy me for Christmas the watch on the cover of the NY Times would be warmly received.
