Here Joe is this any use? Would I get through it in a weekend to be ready to watch the new ones like?

I need something new, I’m nursing series 2 of Fargo so I don’t tear through it and then be jealous of the people who haven’t eaten all of their fargo yet.

Really? I haven’t heard as much raving about it and I have a tendency to dislike a lot of UK based shows.

I’m a huge fan of – Sopranos, The Wire, Breaking Bad, Oz, Fargo etc.
          Does this fit in?

Depends on what you like about them.

If its “they’re American” then you won’t like Luther

Hmm, I have tried to watch the Sopranos and Breaking Bad and do not get them.

But he was in the Wire and it is quite “gritty, rebel cop” show if you like that kinda thing.

Fargo S1 was good but I’m struggling with S2

          Completely Agree!
When the opening shot of a new show introduces you to a clearly enagmatic insomniac character wrestling a giant chicken, that they have clearly shared a bed with, for a grey overcoat, you know it’s a great winner. As for the end of episode reveal about his Mother being a bat and the bussel sprout farming – genius!

Saw the first episode which was pants, full of TV detective cliches but did have her from the affair in it, never went back for more.

As well as the knowledge that the best things in life are free?

Still missing Luther V something fierce. All y’all do yourselves the favour of Googling Luther Vandross at the Dionne Warwick tribute show in about 1987. What a voice.
