   “Langer” ut means to lash out.

   The article is about Nina Jensen, the General Secretary of WWF Norway, whose sister is the Finance Minister, Siv Jensen, also leader of the right-wing populist Progress Party (Fremskrittspartiet). Siv Jensen has expressed scepticism to man-made climate change and actually is, in fairness, a total langer.

   Been living here for two years and I still snigger at the expression.
