I’ll accept the late addition of that full stop and no other mention of it as a slap on the wrist my smartness deserved.

and ray will no doubt condescend to ashling thompson in his usual style:
‘sure you’d think all that running around would do you good’.
‘what has a fine looking girl like you got to feel depressed about?’
‘can you not get a man, cos you’re too busy with the camogie, is it?’

Oh no, the opposite. Ray revels in misery porn. That’s what made his radio show so insufferable. Surprised he hasn’t found a ‘brave’ kid with cancer to cry over and to encourage a charidee run for.

His lack of understanding of women made his today fm show hilarious. I remember he had a sex worker/burlesque performer on one time, his whole line was ‘so your showbiz career is a bit poo so you do a bit of jiggy for the cash, yeh? Jenny and mairead rounding up on him used be gas..

Surprised Jenny hasn’t knocked some sense into him tbh. He’s only gotten worse through the years.

And he STILL doesn’t know how to work the controls in the studio. Jaysus wept.

heard Thompson on Newstalk earlier, very dull interview. doesn’t seem to have much to say for herself.

Saw them a few years ago at a festival, very good alright.

Have RTE ever had them on telly before or did they wait until Jools did some research & had them on?

    What’s this thread about?
-I’m afraid to say anything. I got a belt of a hurley stick when I was younger. I don’t need another.

The one thing Irish people are better at than hating on Irish celebs is hating on Good looking Irish women. She’s a stunner and all anyone can talk about is her eyebrows. Pathetic begrudging ladyparts.
