This Christmas Eve, 11am to 3pm, Pitt Bros BBQ on Georges Street, Dublin 2 will be holding a ‘Pig Out’ free food with €3 festive beers. There is a €15 cover charge at the door but the entirety of this goes to Saint Vincent de Paul. They’d like to encourage people to drop in for lunch during their Christmas Eve shop, fill up on meat and give back to the community!
Oink.

Fair play to them! Great to see it going to a good cause
Homeless can obviously go there to eat free, obviously.
Good idea, but could do without the “free food” spin. The food is €15.
The more cynical amongst us may see it as €15 for food, others see it as a €15 donation to Vinnies that they might otherwise not have made, with free food as the incentive, noting there is some publicity. But ultimately this is a good thing for a good cause.
Indeed.
Both commerce and caring win out – this ticks all the boxes for me.
does it also tick the bottom cancer box, or is it ok to eat pig again?
