Typical Kenny rubbish. The process of looking at this issue with his stupid convention will take at least 18 months. This will be followed by consultation after consultation which will push a decision out until the next government.
The upside for FG? They keep their rosary bead waving rural voters happy.

  2. Saint Paul

Saint Paul experiences feelings of deep nausea any time he views those circus performers in the same frame

Enda “there’s no appetite for a refendum” Kenny is nothing more than a scumbag kicking this referendum down the road.

And I’m now surprised Joan’s towing his line…. Basically if Labour became a toothless-useless-wonder in this govt, Joan is now setting them up to be an even more useless in the next govt.

It will take 18 months just to answer the question of whether the time is right to have a referendum?

Was she watching Airplane ! when she came up with that one?
Dr. Rumack: Captain, how soon can you land?
    Captain Oveur: I can’t tell.
Dr. Rumack: You can tell me. I’m a doctor.
Captain Oveur: No. I mean I’m just not sure.
Dr. Rumack: Well, can’t you take a guess?
Captain Oveur: Well, not for another two hours.
Dr. Rumack: You can’t take a guess for another two hours?

“Tanaiste says the process of looking at whether there should be a referendum on the 8th amendment would take a year and a half”
… 18 months … to decide if one should just take place, let alone actually put it to vote. the wheels move slow in government. theyre like the trees in lord of the rings.

  6. Truth in the News

It is very doubtful if the deletion of the 8th amendment would be carried at all
most of FF and FG grassroots would vote against, as to Labour there is just as much divided.
Why the the raising of the issue now, when the crowd in power can barley look after
living never mind the unborn, anything to get away from the flooding, HSE and
    Irish Water.
