People Against Profit and the Absence of Alternatives Alliance. We need to secure the supply of quality water to help grow the money trees to fund their “policies”.

As much as I disagree with them, it is absolutely untrue to suggest say they are not proposing alternatives.
Paying for water from the Public money is a perfectly valid alternative.

“The Public Money” – how do you define that? And where would you take money from to fund it – or would you advocate borrowing it?

bing, Eurostat has ruled that irish water is a state entity as it’s already funded from the public purse.
So what’s your problem? Most people are peeed over the billions that FG has wasted (spent and committed to spend) in establishing this entity without repairing a single leak.

Boyd Barrett and Ms Daly are pretty decent IMO. Paul Murphy looks like the type that spends 1/2 his time in the bookies

There should be some sort of punishment against the jeans/shoes combo that Murphy is wearing.

I’ll vote for whoever brings in a policy like that.

Only shoes to be worn with jeans by adult males are chukka/desert boots. Chelsea boots are only to be worn with tapered or slim fit – not ballcrusher – jeans. No dress shoes, no cheap pointy yokes like Deputy Murphy is wearing, no deck shoes, no skate shoes and no moccasins except for a suede driving moccasin perhaps. Leave the Onitsuke Tigers, Superstars and Chuck Taylors to the under-20s. Do I have your vote, er, VoteRep?

          1. Spaghetti Hoop

I’ve seen pointier yokes than those pointy yokes – extending for endless cm without even any foot inside them.

@S-Hoop: in fairness, that jester’s accessories game was on point: who doesn’t love a cap with bells?

Ah it’s tedius and disruptive water protest #675. Good reminder to avoid the city centre so on Saturday, thanks!

Did they purposely try to look as clueless and lost as possible in the first picture?

The four looking at the maps are really doing a great impression it’s the first time they have ever looked at a map of Ireland.
