I’m struggling to remember the time 96 Denis O’Briens were crushed to death on a terrace and the ensuing fight for justice.

It is a bit OTT to have included him there, but at this stage DOB is becoming a parody of himself….. I laughed out loud.

I’d say his lawyers scan the papers looking for these gems. Very thin skin for such a [REDACTED] man.

I’m not sure you get what that idiom means.
They equated him to mass murderers.
People who did or do perpetrate acts of unspeakable cruelty or vicious oppression on people

      And Donald Trump.

In fairness, Trump doesn’t actually belong on that list either.
      He’s only a willy like.

He is a hated figure though, and there should be more of it. It seems to be one of the things that gets to him. I like to think that’s why he sold up Topaz, that and the profit, but he didn’t hang around

He’s more like Cecil the dentist: probably not that nice a fellow, but experiences a disproportionate level of hate from people on the Internet who have not very well-informed opinions on the issues of the day

(and by that, I of course actually meant the dentist that shot Cecil the Lion – now who’s the one without well-informed opinions?)

Denis O’Brien has brought more attention to this than it got in the first place. Man is becoming a joke.

It’s outrageously over-the-top trollings like this from the Sun that might exhaust his litigiousness / thin skin.

    Well done!

If DOB doesn’t like it maybe direct the media he controls to bitch about Murdoch.

If Catherine Murphy’s questions were answered then Dennis wouldnt be forever in the headlines. If we knew why 5millon was in an isle of man account after nama sales to Dennis he wouldnt be in the headlines. Sending a solicitors letter to Catherine Murphy for daring to speak in Dail Eireann was a letter too many . As for his isle of man contract with irish water God help us. Perhaps the fact he lived in Malta he didnt realize the genuine hardship on irish families, the shocking suicide figures , and the public’s apathy to goverment spin.

He was a heavily derided figure before Cathrine Murphy went to work on him and if she stopped, he would still be.

I think it’s something to do with phone licences

No one in their right mind would believe he was actually saying O’Brien was as bad as a mass murderer. Obviously, that’s a risk you can’t afford to take with people who would read 500 words of this nappy soilage of an article.
