UCD Law Society writes:

In keeping with what has been an established tradition, the UCD Law Society Committee has released a promotional video for their upcoming Law Ball. We thought we’d share it with you, given that it’s attracted a fair bit of attention in the past.As with the tradition, the committee has taken a not too serious snapshot of itself with scenes featuring a ‘Jedi’, a ‘McGregor’ and much more.

Brace yourselves.

For what it is, a promotional video aimed at students in one university, it is pretty good.

There’s just absolutely no reason why I would want to watch it.

I haven’t watched this, I probably won’t watch this. Can someone sum it up for me (humourously please).

I’m assuming something along the lines of quite conservative young people with a big sense of entitlement poking safe fun at themselves and being ‘mad’.

      That’s rather juvenile, CousinJack.

Only some of them will be leaches.

Others will be prosecutors, judges, legislators, lots won’t work in the law at all.

Does he own a knee length tan jacket with camouflage inside lining? No, he does not.

Oooh and Don ‘The Unstoppable Force’ Pidgeoni and Moyest ‘The Immovable Object’ WithExcitement have found themselves at odds again. And this time it’s a matter of opinion. Sad, pathetic opinion. Banal, self-aggrandising opinion. This one could last all day folks.

Each year I try to understand why UCD needs to release a promotional video for their upcoming Law Ball.

Yes, sorry, went over the top there; I’m afraid I prematurely shot my wad on what was supposed to be a dry run if you will, so I’m afraid I have something of a mess on my hands.

I studied law but am and have lots of decent friends but know a fair few plonkers. Those who will go on to become barristers are more likely to be douchebaggy, I’ve found. Not lacking in self-confidence and usually the parents are well-connected. You all know the type.

But am?!?! Dunno where that came from.
That’s why I don’t practise. No attention to detail.
