Has nobody pulled this fool aside once and had a quiet word with him? He’s become Labour’s biggest liability.

As Tipp voter and having met the man a couple of times, this post could not be more accurate

Is that the “obedient employee”? I’d say he shat his pantaloons when Moan Burton came out with that cracker yesterday.

Nice cartoon BS and not that I’m a fan of kelly but you could at least point out with some nicely placed asterisk that it was john Delaney who came out with that quote. Not kelly

Sorry I’m referring to just the power being a drug one….which tbf is probably the most incriminating one…it being the header and all.

Can’t find it on that journal article.

I think the power one is from Niamh horan’s interview with Delaney last week in the sindo. They were taking the p@€s out of it on second captains on Monday….maybe ken early will know!!!

        1. Squiggleyjoop

That interview was with Alan Kelly…but odds are Delaney has expressed the same opinion at some stage.

Ken Early’s FA cup goals round ups are glorious.

Sorry I’m happy to be proved completely wrong. apologies for any confusion mick. I just remember hearin that quote when they had chat about Delaney on Monday.

Great cartoon. Kelly is defo now a dope

And yes the FA cup rundown is magnificent..

          2. Marklar

Some of the quotes in that article are terrifying.

“Ah sure, in politics you are your own boss really.”

          3. Clampers Outside!

            Unless you’re an “obedient employee”.

Kelly is dangerous because he’s nothing more than a power hungry career politician.

Anyone needing proof needs to look at the return to shoebox building regulations. He’ll do anything just to be seen to be doing something. And doing that with short term views like Ass Kisser’s is not for the benefit of those living or will be living in them. It’s a reduction and reversal in quality of life standards.

Stop calling him AK47, give him his proper title “Ass Kisser”

I nipped across to the PV there to post a link to this thread and their poll is up and running
(note Tip is a new constituency with 5 seats, and no FFer)

    currently
    Mattie McGrath 2nd 34 votes (14.53%)
    Michael Lowry 5th 21 votes (8.97%)
    Michael Dillon 11th 7 votes (2.99%)
    Caroline Hofman 13th 4 votes (1.71%)
    Seamus Healy (WUAG) 9th 12 votes (5.13%)
    Seamie Morris (SF) 6th 18 votes (7.69%)
    Siobhan Ambrose (FF) 10th 11 votes (4.70%)
    Michael Smith (FF) 7th 16 votes (6.84%)
    Jackie Cahill (FF) 3rd 26 votes (11.11%)
    Alan Kelly (Labour) 1st 39 votes (16.67%)
    Marie Murphy (FG) 12th 5 votes (2.14%)
    Tom Hayes (FG) 3rd 26 votes (11.11%)
Noel Coonan (FG) 8th 15 vote

Interesting to note FFers and FGers are running 6 candidates between, Tom Hayes and Jackie Cahill are neck and neck so their party transfers should do right by one’ve em.
IMO There is deffo a Shinner seat in Tip, so maybe the FFers should play nice
Another note to chew on, As predicted by mise, Alan of himself Kelly is a poll topper, but Mattie is the most transfer friendly of the field.
Also, I didn’t cast a vote in this poll. Just in case ye thought I influenced the numbers

So. On the 1st day out
I’m saying Mattie Lowry Kelly Seamie with a count centre spectacular for the 5th seat between Tom Hayes and Jackie Cahill. (the Shinners will decide)

Whatever you do don’t listen to this mornings Newstalk bit from Thurles. Or do. Depending on how much you like the sound of lads fron tipp shouting at each other.

    1. Squiggleyjoop

Is anybody in Labour Labour any more? It’s insane what’s happened to that party over the last 5 years.

        1. Squiggleyjoop

I can only remember things 5 years back at any given time. Like a large goldfish.

I’ve just forgotten what happened at the end of The Social Network.

This is one problem with mainstream politics. The sort of people who put themselves forward are the sort who you’d cross the road to avoid. I bet this lad was great crack in school. D’you reckon he joined the Labour Party because he pulled their name out of a hat?
